We had a wonderful stay at this hidden gem in Nairobi. The host, Mary, is incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. The location may be a bit off the beaten path, but with Mary's assistance in arranging transportation, it was easy to explore the city. we highly recommend Annie's House for a joyful and hospitable stay in Nairobi.

Free WiFi, playground, restaurant with African and American cuisine. Love the continental breakfast, airport shuttle, and terrace. Enjoyed spa services and the sun terrace. Nairobi Railway Museum and Nairobi Gallery are cultural highlights.
Oh, I absolutely hated it when they offered amenities like dry cleaning and a business center. Who needs those, right?

The children's playground was an absolute hit with our kids. It was well-equipped with swings, slides, and plenty of open space to run around. The kids had a blast playing there, and it kept them entertained for hours. It was such a relief to have a place where they could safely play and have fun. We truly appreciated the thoughtfulness of having a children's playground on the property.
For dads, it would be great to have more outdoor activities available for families with children.

Amazing host, went out of her way to help with anything needed. Organized airport pickup and accompanied me to the mall. Delicious food, comfortable bed, fast wifi, and exceptionally clean apartment. Complimentary breakfast was lovely. Conveniently located close to the airport and in a safe and quiet area.
The area of the apartment is far from the city and not suitable for walking outside the compound. Reliance on Uber/taxi for transportation is necessary.
